Dr. Merchant is originally from Mississauga and completed her undergraduate studies from University of Waterloo in 2007. She is a graduate of Medical University of the Americas and finished her residency training at University of Florida – Jacksonville in 2015. She then went on to complete a fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at Maria Fareri Children’s hospital in Westchester New York in 2018. She moved back to the GTA to be closer to family and friends. Dr. Merchant provides primary care and Pediatric Gastroenterology consultative care to all pediatric patients.
