Dr. Richard Hamat
Doctor Hamat attended the University of Western Ontario and then went on to graduate from the University of Toronto Medical School in 1984. He interned at St. Micheals Hospital and completed a pediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children in 1989. Ever since then, Dr. Hamat has been practicing pediatrics in Woodbridge and has had hospital privileges at Humber River Regional Hospital. At the Vaughan Pediatric Clinic, Dr. Hamat provides primary care and consultative care practice for all age ranges. Dr. Hamat was raised in Toronto and is married with three children.
Dr. Jacob Rosenberg
Dr. Rosenberg graduated from Sackler School of Medicine in 2000 and completed his Pediatric Residency and Chief Residency at Schneider Children’s Hospital at North Shore in Manhasset, New York in 2004. Dr. Rosenberg practised Pediatrics in New York for almost 6 years before moving to Toronto in April 2010 when he joined the Vaughan Pediatric Clinic. Dr. Rosenberg provides primary care and consultative care for all Pediatric patients.
Dr. Peter Chmiel
Doctor Chmiel is originally from Krakow, Poland, though he has lived in Toronto most of his life. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto. He is a graduate of St. George's University, School of Medicine and finished his residency training in 2011 at the Golisano Children's Hospital at the State University of New York, Syracuse. He is happy to finally be back home. Dr. Chmiel provides primary care and consultative services for all pediatric patients.
Dr. Tina Tran
Dr. Tran has lived in Mississauga and the Greater Toronto Area for most of her life. She completed her undergraduate and medical studies at Howard University, in Washington, D.C. in 2009, then went on to finish her pediatrics residency at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey, in Newark, N.J. in 2012. Dr. Tran provides primary care and consultative services for all pediatric patients.
Dr. Kalindi Dhekney
Dr. Dhekney grew up in Pickering, ON and completed her undergraduate studies at McMaster University. She attended medical school at Wayne State University and stayed on to complete her pediatrics residency at the Children's Hospital of Michigan in 2013. She also completed a year as chief resident at the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and worked as a pediatrician in the ER for a year before moving back to Toronto to be close to family in 2015. Dr. Dhekney provides primary care and consultative services for all pediatric patients.
Dr. Sally Kenawy
Dr. Kenawy grew up in Brampton, Ontario and completed her undergraduate studies at Simon Fraser University in British Columbia. She attended medical school at St. George's University and went on to complete her pediatric residency training as well as chief residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York. Dr. Kenawy provides primary care and consultative services for all pediatric patients, and is also on staff at Humber River hospital.
Dr Victoria Pila MD FRCP(C)
Dr. Pila spent much of her childhood in Thornhill, Ontario and Miami, Florida, before her family settled down in Canada permanently. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, earning an Honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and went on to attend medical school at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She completed her Pediatric residency training at Western University in London, Ontario, where she served two terms as Chief Resident and was actively involved in medical education. Dr. Pila provides primary care and consultative services for all pediatric patients.
Dr. Elana Lavine, allergist
Dr. Lavine graduated from University of Toronto with an MD in 2002 and completed a pediatric residency at the Hospital for Sick Children; she went on to complete a fellowship in Allergy and Clinical Immunology also through the University of Toronto/Sick Kids, for both adults and children. She is happy to see patients of all ages for allergy consultation.
